Refund Policy

1. Overview

All subscription payments and refunds for Bookvy are processed by BOOKVY SMART LEARNING TECHNOLOGY PRIVATE LIMITED through authorized payment partners (including Razorpay).

We want you to be confident when subscribing to our services. This policy describes eligibility, timelines, and the process for requesting refunds on paid subscription plans.

This policy applies to direct purchases made by students, parents, or individual users through Bookvy checkout. School or institutional contracts may follow separate commercial terms agreed in writing.

2. Free Trial

Eligible plans may include a free trial period as shown on the Pricing page or at checkout. During the trial, you can explore the platform before being charged.

If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged for that subscription period. If payment is collected after a trial, the refund terms below apply from the date of successful payment.

3. 7-Day Money-Back

If you are not satisfied with Bookvy after actively using the app for 7 consecutive working days, you may request a full refund of your subscription payment.

To be eligible for a refund, you must actively use the app for the complete 7 working days, including watching video lectures and attempting available quizzes and tests. If, after completing these 7 working days, you are not satisfied with the learning experience or do not find the expected learning support or solutions, you may submit a refund request.

This guarantee applies once per user account for a given plan purchase. It covers the initial payment for that subscription activation, not subsequent renewals unless required by law.

• You must actively use the app for 7 consecutive working days.
• During this period, you should watch available video lectures and attempt quizzes and tests.
• You can submit a refund request only after completing the 7 working days of active usage.
• If you meet the above criteria and are not satisfied with the learning support, solutions, or overall learning experience, the refund request will be considered eligible.
• Refund eligibility will be verified based on your actual app usage.
• Once a refund request is approved, the refund will be processed within 7 working days.
• Promotional or heavily discounted offers may display different refund terms at checkout; those terms will prevail.

4. Renewals and Upgrades

Automatic renewals and manual renewals are generally non-refundable once the new billing period has started, except where required by applicable consumer protection law.

If you upgrade to a higher plan, any price difference is calculated at checkout. Downgrades typically take effect at the next billing cycle unless otherwise stated in your account.

We recommend reviewing your plan and billing cycle before renewal. You can manage subscription settings from your dashboard where available.

5. Non-Refundable Situations

• Refund requests submitted after the eligible refund window has expired.
• Partial refunds for unused time within a billing period, unless required by law or explicitly approved by BOOKVY SMART LEARNING TECHNOLOGY PRIVATE LIMITED support.
• Payments made through unauthorized third-party resellers not approved by BOOKVY SMART LEARNING TECHNOLOGY PRIVATE LIMITED.
• Accounts suspended or terminated for violation of our Terms of Use or misuse of the platform.
• Issues caused by incompatible devices, unsupported browsers, or lack of internet connectivity outside our control.

6. Failed or Duplicate Payments

If a payment fails but an amount was debited by your bank or payment provider, the reversal is usually handled automatically by the payment network within a few business days.

For duplicate charges or successful payments without corresponding subscription activation, contact support with your payment reference ID and registered email so we can investigate promptly.

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email info@bookvyeducation.com from your registered account email with the subject line "Refund Request" and include the details below.

Our team will review eligible requests and respond within 5–7 business days.

• Your full name and registered phone number or email.
• Plan name and billing cycle purchased.
• Payment date and Razorpay payment ID or order reference, if available.
• Brief reason for the refund request.

8. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds are initiated by BOOKVY SMART LEARNING TECHNOLOGY PRIVATE LIMITED through our payment partner (Razorpay) to your original payment method.

Depending on your bank, UPI provider, or card issuer, credited amounts may take 5–10 business days to appear in your account after approval.

If the original payment method cannot receive a refund, we may offer an alternative resolution such as account credit, where permitted.

9. Cancellations

Canceling a subscription stops future renewals but does not automatically refund the current billing period unless you qualify under this policy.

After cancellation, you may retain access until the end of the paid period already purchased, unless your plan terms state otherwise.

10. Chargebacks and Disputes

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We are committed to resolving billing issues fairly and quickly.

Unauthorized chargebacks on valid transactions may result in account suspension while the dispute is investigated.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Purchases made before a change remain subject to the policy in effect at the time of payment, unless a newer policy is more favorable to you under applicable law.
